Robert Zimmerman

Robert grew up in Houston and graduated from TCU in 1972 with a BA in Economics. After living in Midland and Denver for many years, he moved back to Houston with his wife, Nancy. They have two daughters, Elise and Adelaide, and a son, Will, as well as 4 grandchildren.

He continues his work in the oil and gas industry, in which he has been involved for the past 40 years.  He has enjoyed the business along with the relationships and friends made through this industry. Robert attends Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church and is active in Local Outreach there.  He has also been very involved with Young Life in Houston and in Texas, where he has been on various boards and committees over the years. He is presently on committee at Young Life South Central Houston and is on the board of Loving Houston.

Robert enjoys all outdoors activities, including hiking, swimming and biking in the Texas Hill Country and Colorado, as does his beloved wife, Nancy. Robert and Nancy have known of Serenity Retreat and been supporters for over 10 years. Through the years they have seen Serenity Retreat grow and heard more and more the testimonies of the powerful work God is doing through this organization.
